Tara has blended modalities to create her own style of Fascial Alignment Massage. She ‘pulls’ internal and superficial fascia to release scar tissue and blockages or holding (compensation) patterns through manipulation of the muscle fibers and realigns then towards their respective fascial chains. The result opens the body’s capacity for Myofascial chain integration, full-access stretching and easier body sculpting maintenance.
Pain and compression decrease while ROM and flexibility increase! She promotes daily posture tips and a ‘stretch-to-go’ that will help you keep the work by further tethering the connective tissue of the body into alignment.
With extensive experience in one-on-one settings, Tara Winkler is passionate about helping others learn, succeed and maintain progress in their physical bodies as well as good day to day posture habits. This encouraging force has been a focus of hers well before her work as a Massage therapist and stems from her earlier experiences as a supportive academic tutor.
Tara is an Honors Graduate and Certified Massage Therapist Ambassador of National Holistic Institute, a Reposturing Practitioner of Vitality Sciences Institute, a practitioner of Chi Nei Tsang and graduate of Hunter College in Manhattan.
She’s looking forward to continuing her research and studies in fascia as well as chiropractic treatment in the years to come!
